The Story

While caring for his forgetful mother, a son grapples with the reality of climate change in their Gullah Geechee community.

The Mission

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reports Charleston could be underwater by 2070. This will severely and disproportionately impact Gullah Geechee communities through further displacement and loss of cultural assets. This film serves as an archival and educational tool to bring awareness to injustices experienced by the community.
